Noodle Doodle DIY Cup at Jonker Mamee House [Malaysia Travels]

On our trip to Jonker Street, Melaka in Malaysia, we did a lot of walking under the hot afternoon sun and at some point we couldn’t take the heat. We did a couple of shopping so we could enjoy the cool air conditioned shops while we finished buying our souvenirs. 

We stumbled upon the Mamee Jonker House where they sold mainly noodle snacks and instant noodles. At the counter, we found out that they had a Noodle Doodle DIY Cup Activity. Each cup costs RM15 and you can doodle on your cup noodles (while chilling in the cold activity area). You can also customize the flavors and toppings of your cup noodles.

Flavors: Chicken, Tom Yum, Curry Laksa, and Vegetarian.

There was an ample amount of seats and each table had its own set of markers. There were plenty of markers to share with. I thought that the area would be filled with kids but surprisingly, all of the people who partook in the activity were young adults.

If memory serves me right, you can only choose four toppings.

Toppings: Sweet corn, shiitake mushroom, spring onion, red chili, green peas, and cabbage. 

Aside from the toppings, they’ll add in a foldable fork and the sauce/soup packets. Afterwards, they’ll ask you to turn the machine to seal your cup then they’ll wrap your cup in cling wrap. Finally, they’ll place your cup in a blue Mamee box.

Jonker Mamee House is located at 46 & 48, Jalan Hang Jebat, 75200 Melaka, Malaysia. They’re open during 10 AM–5:30 PM on weekdays and 10 AM–7:30 PM on weekends.
